Mission Statement

In addition to the mission statements of ETH Zurich, we pursue further objectives:

• The studies at ETH Zurich will provide the required background for a successful career in the interdisciplinary field of engineering. This is based on a comprehensive education in process and plant engineering and also on improving soft skills like communication abilities, capacity for teamwork as well as leadership characteristics. The students are forced to apply their learned knowledge towards current technical questions.
• An integral part within the studies is the insight into research and development in the field of process and plant engineering and therefore we ensure the promotion of young academics. By means of innovative processes, tools and concepts, these young professionals are able to contribute to the solution of urgent problems in our society.
