Industrial processes have a huge energy demand. The EIP SCCER (Efficiency of Industrial Processes) competence centre in the Efficiency action area aims to improve the efficiency in these processes.

Does your company or your research institution deal with the optimisation of industrial processes? Are you looking for ways to efficiently use process heat from renewable energies? The EIP SCCER is currently expanding its research and development capacities in this area. It intends to facilitate the development of advanced concepts and innovations, enabling the industry sector to reach its energy efficiency targets according to the “Energy Strategy 2050” for Switzerland and to improve its competitiveness. The EIP SCCER focuses R&D on systems at different scales, from individual process units to integrated processes up to integrated sites connected with their surroundings. It focusses primarily on technological innovation, testing and demonstration sites, but also examines organisational and operational aspects.
